Rachel Bailey

Valuable life experiences have given me the ability to successfully navigate great and powerful tragedy without losing sight of the meaning of life.

It is my greatest aspiration to help clients know they are heard, valued, and respected. I believe that each individual can achieve freedom and victory over negative life experiences. My goal is to assist clients through integrative therapy based on the needs of each client.

Professionally, I have served in hotel management and ministry, special needs populations, and as a homemaker. As a lay counselor and graduate counselor-in-training (CIT), anger management, domestic violence, trauma, and codependency have been my areas of experience. As a woman, I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and military spouse who has experienced the impact of infertility, pregnancy loss, traumatic neonatal delivery, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, and autism in my life and family.

One of my favorite quotes is “the meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away” by William Shakespeare. My life journey has led me to explore my gifts and I believe one of these is the gift of service through counseling. It is my privilege to share my gifts to help others discover their own gifts in life.

As a Counselor-In-Training, Mrs. Bailey is under the supervision of, Sonya Heckler Cheyne, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, and Kristin Witte-Hubbard, M.Ed., LPC.
