Thom Lolley

Thom (pronounced “Tom”) brings a unique, eclectic dynamic to the counseling relationship. With more than 30 years of experience working directly with crisis management and disaster response, trauma, and recovery, Thom has a passion to serve individuals, couples, and families seeking to overcome past hurts and hang ups, to make sense of their past, and to reengage life with a sense of hope and purpose for the future. He has sought out specialized training to help clients understand the trauma-related origins of personal problem behaviors and to guide them in learning to cope with distressing or unhelpful thoughts and feelings.

Life experiences as a husband, father, retired law enforcement officer/commander, and Disabled American Veteran, filtered through a Christian worldview, have informed his unique perspectives on crisis, trauma, and recovery.

Thom is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the required State of Texas LPC Board supervision of Sonya Heckler Cheyne, PhD, LPC-S, NCC.
